Success in Coos Bay on New Middle School

Kudos to the crew in Coos Bay!

Over the past month a PPE crew led by Jean-Luc LaVe took on installing the precast and gym girders in at the new Marshfield Junior High School Addition.  The team installed over 150 precast walls, dealing with a tight site and challenging logistics. The guys located issues before installation and aided in correcting the issues.

Shout out to the crew:

  • Jean-Luc LaVe
  • Jason Merz
  • Craig Rogers
  • Jordan Hammand
  • Lewis Grant
  • Justin Salling
  • and… Toad!

Grouting and pathcing by:

  • Chuck Ecret

Also, special thanks to Mark Alcott for driving our shuttle truck and to Jim Atwood pulling the levers for Ness Campbell Crane.

The first phase of the job presented many challenges.  We look forward to the next phase where we will be installing Arcus panels.  This project is going to be a great addition to the school and the community.
