Lamb Weston Facility- Boardman, OR
We installed 2,700 precast pieces for this 192,000-square-foot, $220 million addition to Lamb Weston’s Boardman facility, allowing the company to expand its processing capabilities for frozen potatoes and other vegetables.
This was a complex project requiring a great deal of technical knowledge — we had to create the superstructure before the interior, and then create a structure within that structure. And design delays prevented us from starting the work until more than a month after we were initially scheduled to begin. Despite these issues, however, our speed helped us to “rescue” the project and meet the original target completion date.
