PPE partnered with steel fabricator RW Fab to erect steel at the Legacy Emanuel West Expansion in Portland, OR. This project was our largest steel erection project to date. Our scope included structural steel erection of the 4-story, 330,000 SF expansion. We utilized two onsite tower cranes provided by GC Andersen Construction. There were many challenges that PPE had to overcome, notably construction at an existing, operating hospital and an extremely tight worksite area.
